SHAH ALAM, Sept 3 — The Selangor government has initiated an official website for the people in the state to submit ideas and suggestions for the upcoming Belanjawan Selangor 2021 (2021 Selangor Budget).
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the people can log in to the website at https://www.amirudinshari.com/selangor2021 to give their feedback and suggestions for the 2021 State Budget, which will be tabled at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly on October 30, from 3pm to 5pm.
“It is important to take into account the people’s input and aspirations from various levels of society in order to clearly understand the needs of all parties to formulate policies that are more ‘pro-rakyat’.
“The people are encouraged to take part and submit any suggestions via the website,” said Amirudin in a statement today.
The website, he said, will also be the platform to deliver comprehensive information on the Belanjawan Selangor 2021 to the public both inside and outside of Selangor.
Amirudin added the initiative is important in order for the public, especially the people of Selangor, to understand the objectives as well as the main thrusts of the state budget and how it would benefit everyone.
The 2021 Selangor Budget will focus on four main thrusts — agriculture, tourism and agrotourism; public health, housing and urban living; entrepreneurship and digitalisation; and art and culture.
