MB: Selangor manufacturing sector continues to expand job opportunities

SHAH ALAM, Sept 2 — The placement of business conglomerates in Selangor offers various kinds of opportunities for cooperation as well as business prospects, says Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

The Selangor Menteri Besar said this includes several big names such as Hartalega Holdings Bhd, Ikea, Perodua Global Manufacturing, Proton Holdings Bhd, Top Glove Corp Bhd, among others.

In a statement posted on his Facebook, Amirudin said the state government’s strategy has been fruitful to continue paving the way for progress-planning in Selangor.

From the months of January to March 2020, he said as many as 61 projects have been approved in Selangor.

These approvals involve an investment total of as much as RM1,460.4 million.

“Employment opportunities generated from foreign and domestic investments will surely benefit the general Malaysian public especially people of Selangor.

“Invest Selangor has made this state an investment magnet so that the opportunities created can be used to ensure a bright future for all,” Amirudin wrote.

Invest Selangor Bhd, for which Amirudin is the organisation’s chairman, is the state’s business advisory services entity which functions to provide state investors with needed information.
