SHAH ALAM, Oct 13 — The opening ceremony of the Virtual Selangor International Business Summit 2020 and the Selangor Asean Business Conference 2020 will be held fully virtually due to the enforced conditional movement control order (CMCO) in the Klang Valley effective midnight tomorrow.
In an invitation for the event, Invest Selangor Sdn Bhd had opened up the virtual invite to the launch, which will be carried out on October 14 from 10am to 4.30pm.
It had also provided a guide for user reference on accessing the virtual platform for the opening ceremony.
“Due to announcement of the CMCO effective midnight, October 14, by the government, we would like to inform you that the opening ceremony of Virtual Selangor International Business Summit 2020 and the Selangor Asean Business Conference 2020 will only be done virtually.
“Attach herewith is the event programme of the day and How-To-Guide, for your guidance and reference to access the virtual platform,” the invitation read.

Yesterday, the Federal government had announced the enforced CMCO in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya effective from 12.01am on October 14 to October 27 due to the increasing cases and spread of Covid-19 such as in Klang, Petaling and Gombak.
