GM Klang focuses on digital platform during CMCO

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 — The public can now buy products and get the latest promotions from wholesalers at GM Klang via live programmes on its official social media platform, without having to visit the wholesale centre.

GM Klang, in a statement today, said that as the conditional movement control order (CMCO) prohibits interstate travel, the live programme would enable viewers to explore the shops in GM Klang and share interesting promotions offered.

“The current situation has led many businesses to focus on online platform, which has also become a trend for customers to get daily necessities. In line with this, GM Klang begins to diversify our messages on our official digital platform.

“Through the product review segment which is aired during the CMCO period, viewers can interact with celebrities in selected slots,” the statement said, adding that it also uploaded various TikTok videos to entertain its social media followers.

It also said that the programme also featured the ‘unboxing’ concept in the ‘On X On GM Klang’ segment, which shares the details and demonstration of selected items purchased at the wholesale centre.

For visitors, GM Klang also organises various campaigns and contests which offer interesting prizes, it said.
