Ayer Panas Toll Plaza attendant Covid-19 positive — Duke

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 — The multi-class lanes at the Ayer Panas Toll Plaza of the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) will be closed in stages after a toll booth attendant tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.

DUKE Highway concession holder Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara-Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd (Kesturi) in a statement here yesterday said the toll booth attendant is currently being treated in hospital and efforts to trace close contacts were underway.

“In view of this, highway users from Kuala Lumpur city centre, Sentul and Gombak who want to head towards Ampang, Setiawangsa and Wangsa Maju are advised to ensure that their Touch N Go card and e-wallets balance are sufficient.

“This is because the multi-class lanes and toll plaza buildings will be temporarily closed for sanitation and cleaning work which will be done at 12 midnight, today (December 3),” the statement said.
