Design e-poster for anti gender-based violence and win RM1,200

SHAH ALAM, Dec 19 — The public is invited to join an Instagram e-poster design contest in conjunction with the state-level ‘16-day Activism Against Gender Violence’ campaign.

Based on a poster shared by state executive councillor for women and family development Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud on Facebook, the contest starts from November 25 to December 24 and is open to all Malaysian citizens with no age limit.

“Once done, upload the design to Instagram and remember to put the hashtag #selangorhapuskankeganasanterhadapwanita2020 and #SelangorHentikanKeganasanHormatWanita2020,” wrote Dr Siti Mariah.

The champion stands to receive RM1,200, whereas the first runner-up and second runner-up will win RM800 and RM500, respectively.

Based on the rules that were shared, the shortlisted e-posters will be shown on the Facebook page titled ‘Selangor Hentikan Keganasan dan Hormat Wanita’ for the jury to select.

Winners will be notified through Instagram messages that include the date of the prize-giving ceremony.
