Mais staff positive Covid-19, real estate office closed five days

SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) has closed its real estate sector office from today until December 13 for disinfection work.

The agency in a statement said the closure was due to one of its staff was found positive for Covid-19 yesterday and is currently undergoing treatment.

Mais informed its other services are operating as usual via appointment basis only and had encouraged its customers to sort out any matters via its website at www.mais.gov.my.

“The safety of Mais’ employees and customers is our priority, therefore customers are advised to adhere to the guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP) that is set,” the agency stated.
