PKPS confirms an employee positive for Covid-19

SHAH ALAM, Dec 23 — The Wisma PKPS building here was disinfected today after an employee from the Selangor Agriculture Development Corporation (PKPS) was found positive for Covid-19.

In a statement issued today, PKPS management said the employee who works in its Building Engineering Department had last attended the office in Wisma PKPS on Friday (December 18) last week.

“The health and safety of the staff and visitors to Wisma PKPS are of utmost importance. Thus as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of the pandemic, disinfection work was carried out in that particular office and other public areas in Wisma PKPS starting at 8.30pm tonight,” read the statement.

The management also encouraged any individuals who have done transaction at the PKPS office starting from December 16 to 23 to undergo a swab test at the nearest clinic.

It also advised that all entering the Wisma PKPS should adhere to the health guidelines set by the National Security Council including checking body temperature and close contact tracing as well as wearing a face mask at all time, practise clean hygiene and maintaining social distancing.
