Rubber smallholders may claim November IPG from Dec 1-31

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 — Smallholders may claim for the rubber production incentive (IPG) based on their November 2020 production, between December 1 and 31, said the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB).

In a statement today, MRB said the IPG for November 2020 in the peninsula is 0.05 sen per kg, and 30 sen and 25 sen per kg for Sabah and Sarawak respectively.

“In November 2020, the average farm level price per kg of cup lump was RM2.45 for the peninsula, RM2.20 for Sabah and RM2.25 for Sarawak,” it said.

Since January 2019, the board would activate the IPG if the average monthly price of SMR 20 FOB was at RM6.10 per kg or below, or the farmgate price was at RM2.50 per kg or below.
