SHAH ALAM, Dec 15 — Selangor Digital e-Supply Chain (Seldec) will expand its e-hailing service to cover the whole Klang Valley starting next year.

Seldec project director Md Fauzan Elham said the agency would then require the manpower of 1,200 drivers and riders to deliver its order.

He said currently Seldec only have 50 delivery partners covering 36 areas in Shah Alam, Klang and Rawang.

“We will expand our service to Cyberjaya, Bangi, Kajang and other districts in Klang Valley, so we plan to increase the number of delivery partners in stages,” he said.

Md Fauzan said this after attending the Roda Darul Ehsan (RiDE) initiative presentation ceremony at the Selangor State Secretariat Building here yesterday.

On July 13, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said Seldec functions to market agro produce, small entrepreneurs products and fresh goods.

Seldec is set up under the Selangor Industrial Corporation Sdn Bhd and connects buyers and seller via its website at https://www.seldec.com.my/en.
