Some KL Payment Centre IRB offices closed for disinfection exercise

PUTRAJAYA, Dec 31 — Some of the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) offices at the Kuala Lumpur Payment Centre will be temporarily closed from today until a date that will be announced later to allow for a disinfection exercise.

The IRB in a media statement today said the temporary closure did not involve the Kuala Lumpur Payment Centre counter located on the ground floor.

“This counter will operate as usual during the conditional movement control order (CMCO) for the convenience of customers who want to fulfil their responsibilities as taxpayers,” it said.

The agency said the counter operating hours for cash payments are every Monday to Friday from 8 am to 1 noon while for non-cash payment (payment by cheques, bank drafts, remittances and postal money) will operate every Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4.30 pm.

The IRB also reminded all customers who come to attend to their affairs to always comply with the Covid-19 Preventive Standard Operating Procedure set by the Ministry of Health and the National Security Council.
