SHAH ALAM, Dec 19 — The registration for Subang Jaya Career Fair (KKSJ) is still open up to 9pm today.
Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng said jobs seekers are urged to seize this opportunity by registering using the Google Forms at https://rb.gy/j9otkm.
“Qualified applicants will be contacted starting December 23 after the employers have assesed their personal data and the job compatibility,” Ng said when contacted today.
According to her, KKSJ will be organised again in January and February next year, but it depends on the current Covid-19 pandemic situation as well as conditional movement control order (CMCO) implementation.
“If the applications are encouraging, we will consider turning KKSJ into an annual programme to help the society,” she said.
The KKSJ career fair is an initiative by the Subang Jaya constituency with the cooperation of several parties to address the issue of unemployment and assist individuals who lost their jobs during the pandemic to regain a source of income.
The virtual event that took place from December 8 to 10 involved 61 employers with 1,383 job offers.
Job vacancies and employers’ information are still shown on the event main sponsor BG Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd’s Facebook page.
