TH chief Human Capital officer wins ‘Women in HR Leadership’ Award

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 — Chief Human Capital Officer of Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), Rina Sarif won the Women in HR Leadership Award category in conjunction with the Malaysia Leadership Awards, organised by the World HRD Congress 2020-2021 edition which took place online recently.

TH in a statement said, Rina successfully rebranded the Human Resources Department to become the Human Capital Department when she started working in the organisation.

Rina’s work style emphasises results and impact-oriented work aspects as well as being highly competitive encouraging the quality of work of its staff to be more efficient and proactive.

“TH congratulates Rina and hopes that her success will be an inspiration to all women in Malaysia, especially professionals and corporate leaders,” the statement read.

In the statement, Rina was also quoted as saying she hoped that the achievement would be a source of inspiration and motivation for TH staff to continue to provide excellent services in making TH a high performing organisation.

The annual awards organised by the previous World HRD Congress successfully attracted more than 1,800 professional sectors from 133 countries and among the new categories introduced were the Diversity Award and the Women in HR Leadership Awards.
