Tourism Selangor launches ‘Pusing Selangor’ campaign

SHAH ALAM, Dec 17 — Tourism Selangor today launched a domestic tourism campaign titled ‘Pusing Selangor Dulu’ (Explore Selangor First) to encourage tourists to visit the state.

The campaign was launched by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari who also introduced actress Che Puan Juliana Evans as the Selangor Tourism Ambassador.

Amirudin said it is focused on attracting domestic visitors through eco-tourism, agro sports, theme parks and shopping.

“Through the uniqueness of Selangor’s nine districts network, a variety of unique experience is available for tourists,” he said.

He also shared six attractive segments in Selangor which are:

  • Nature —  Sky Mirror Kuala Selangor, Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Kuala Selangor Nature Park, Kanching EcoForest Park and Broga Hill.
  • Extreme Sports — White water rafting in Kuala Kubu Bharu and Zipline at Gua Damai Extreme Park.
  • Homestay and Agro Accommodation — Sungai Haji Dorani Homestay, Sungai Sireh Homestay, Selangor Fruit Valley and Banghuris Homestay.
  • Heritage and Culture – Royal Klang Heritage Walk, Istana Bandar, Bukit Malawati and Jugra.
  • Theme parks – Sunway Lagoon, Kidzania, Bangi Wonderland, Jumpstreet Asia, i-City and District 21.
  • Shopping – Mitsui Outlet Park, Sunway Pyramid, GM Klang, One Utama, The Curve and SACC Mall.
