Water supply stabilises in 92 pct out of areas hit — Air Selangor

SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — A total of 791 areas or 91.9 per cent out of the 861 areas affected by unstable water distribution has been stabilised as of 3pm today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) in an update on its social media platform said the water supply has fully stabilised in three districts, namely Petaling, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor, as well as Kuala Lumpur.

It is said efforts to stabilise the water distribution in the remaining 70 affected areas is ongoing.

“The restoration rate in Kuala Langat is currently recorded at 90 per cent, followed by Klang Shah Alam (87.7 per cent) and Gombak (83 per cent),” it said.
