SHAH ALAM, Jan 8 —The burst pipe repair works at Jalan Sering, Taman Sungai Sering in Cheras which started from 1pm was 38 per cent completed as of 6pm today.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the emergency repair work on the burst pipe caused by a third party is running smoothly and expected to be completed on schedule by 3am tomorrow.
“The water supply will be distributed once the repair work has been fully completed,” said Air Selangor in a statement.
The pipe repair works had caused unscheduled water supply disruption at 121 areas in Petaling, Hulu Langat and Kuala Lumpur.
“Air Selangor has provided water supply assistance through water tankers that have been mobilised to the affected areas,” said the water operator.
Air Selangor will update the progress of the pipe repair works from time to time through all official communication channels of the company, including its website at www.airselangor.com as well as on all its official communication channels, such as the Air Selangor mobile application, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, users can also contact Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
