SHAH ALAM, Jan 26 — The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) has resumed its appointment-based services beginning yesterday.
The state religious department in a statement said matters in relations to online solemnisation ceremonies can be done at the District Religious Office (Paid) or via arrangements made with the mosque.
“Collection of certificates of marriage, divorce and ruju’ can also be made through appointments. Only one person is allowed present during each appointment.
“Appointments can be done from Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 4.30pm while the daily operating hours of the counters are only from 8am to 1pm,” the statement read.
