SHAH ALAM, Jan 1 — Residents in Bukit Gasing constituency can now take the Covid-19 health screening using the Antigen rapid test kits (RTK-Ag) from as low as RM30.
Its representative Rajiv Rishyakaran said the screening is for the lower-income bracket segment (B40) and available at PJ Polyclinic and Klinik Kim in Petaling Jaya as well as Klinik One Medic, Puchong.
“The residents are required to bring their identity card (MyKad) or electricity and water bills to prove that they are staying in this constituency,” he told SelangorKini.
However, he said the offer is also open to the public, whether they are citizens or foreign nationals, at an RM70 fee.
Rajiv explained that the offered price is more worthwhile compared to RTK-Ag screenings elsewhere that would cost more than RM130.
He added that no appointments are required, as the public can just head straight to the clinics.
“This initiative started on November 6, 2020, and it is still ongoing. The reason we are doing this is to make sure more people are screened to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
