Covid-19: Viral whatsapp info inaccurate — MOH

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 4 — The Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday said the information in an attachment with the title “Kes Covid dikesan dalam tempoh 14 hari” (Covid case detected within 14 days) that went viral on WhatsApp was inaccurate.

MOH, in its Facebook post, said the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) also found the information misleading.

“For information, the amount reported actually covers one kilometre radius for a period of 14 days and not in the areas shown in the graphics .

“Stop sharing this inaccurate graphics. Use the hotspot tracker in the MySejahtera application properly to plan your travel and always comply with the SOP (standard operating procedures),” said the MOH.
