SHAH ALAM, Jan 1 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has urged resident living in several housing areas in Klang to undergo the free Covid-19 screening, which begins tomorrow until Saturday.

The residential areas involved are Taman Bayu Perdana, Taman Sri Andalas, Taman Bayu, Taman Desawan, Taman Desa Utama, Taman Chi Liung, Taman Petaling Indah and Bandar Bukit Tinggi.

Amirudin said the free screening will start from 9am until 4pm and will be conducted at Jalan Batu Unjur 5 in Taman Bayu Perdana, Klang.

“Register immediately via the SELangkah website to ensure a smooth screening process,” he said in a Facebook posting today.

Covid-19 cases in Klang have risen significantly and saw the highest number of infections compared to other districts in the state for three days in a row.

Yesterday, the district recorded the highest number of infections in Selangor at 914.

Selangor has launched its Covid-19 community screening initiative, which is also conducted via drive-thru service.
