SHAH ALAM, Jan 2 — Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad has sanitised the Mydin USJ outlet after its staff there tested positive for Covid-19 this week.

In a statement on its Facebook page on December 31, 2020, the company said they detected the individuals during a Covid-19 screening on all its Mydin USJ operation staff on December 29 and 30, 2020.

“The screening results have found positive cases and all the positive (Covid-19) individuals have been immediately quarantined.

“Close contacts have been identified and screened under the advice from the Health Ministry (MOH),” said the statement.

The management added that disinfection and sanitisation procedures have carried at the entire Mydin USJ premise on the same day in accordance with MOH guidelines.

It said that Mydin business operations continue as normal with MOH approval.

“We will ensure a continuous standard operating procedure (SOP) compliance for the wellbeing and safety of our employees and customers.”

However, Mydin management did not specify the number of staff who were found positive for Covid-19.
