Rina Harun tests positive for Covid-19, admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 — Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun is confirmed positive with Covid-19.

According to a statement issued by her office today, Rina went to the Putrajaya Health Clinic to do the screening test yesterday morning and the result was conveyed to her last night.

She was admitted to the Sungai Buloh Hospital at 11am today for further observation.

“She apologised if this matter caused any inconvenience and worry to others and prayed Allah would make everything easy for them.

“She will also ensure that during her absence, the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development will continue with its welfare work, as well as safeguard, empower and ensure development of the target group, and that the ministry will continue to operate as usual,” it said.
