Subang Jaya rep offers Covid-19 screening at RM70 for students

SHAH ALAM, Jan 17 — Subang Jaya is offering Covid-19 screenings priced at RM70 for Form 5 students who will be returning back to school for face-to-face learning beginning January 20.

The Covid-19 screening is also open for students from higher learning institutions located in the constituency.

Subang Jaya state representative Michelle Ng Mei Sze said the test is only mandatory for those who are showing symptoms as a precautionary measure.

“This opportunity is open for students from schools in SS12 to SS19, USJ1 to USJ 22 as well as PJS 7, 9 and 11.

“In collaboration with QHC Medical Centre, the Covid-19 screening will be using the Antigen Rapid Test Kid (RTK-Ag),” said Ng on a Twitter post last night

Ng said those who wish to get tested only need to bring their offer letter or student ID and appointments can be made via WhatsApp at 012-9120536.

Students from higher learning institutions include those from Sunway University, Monash University Malaysia, Taylor’s University, Lakeside Campus, INTI International University and Colleges, SEGi College Subang Jaya dan Asia e University (AeU) Malaysia.

On January 15, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said students sitting for examinations or returning to campuses and hostels are not required to undergo the Covid-19 screening unless they show symptoms.
