SHAH ALAM, Feb 15 — Candidates of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2020 from Subang Jaya are being sponsored to enrol into online classes as part of their preparation for the examinations that will begin on February 22.

Subang Jaya state representative Michelle Ng Mei Sze said a total of 150 students would attend 20 online sessions with experienced educators.

“This is a move to help the SPM 2020 candidates since the teaching and learning process in schools this year has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We know that the outbreak has left an impact. Therefore those who were sponsored stand the chance to revise their lessons based on their own suitable timing,” she told SelangorKini yesterday.

Ng said the programme is held in collaboration with the on-demand video tutoring app AskBee.

Following the recent upsurge in Covid-19 cases, the Education Ministry had postponed the SPM examination to be held from February 22 until the end of March.
