Certificate of Fitness for Seri Perantau apartments obtained in 2006 — PKNS

SHAH ALAM, Feb 27 — Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has clarified that the Certificate of Fitness (CF) for Seri Perantau Apartments, Port Klang developed by the company was obtained in 2006.

PKNS in a statement yesterday said, the issue over the CF for the apartment project was resolved in 2006 while the strata title application is being processed accordingly.

“PKNS takes this matter seriously and is always committed to ensuring the safety of every project for the comfort of all our customers,” according to the statement.

PKNS said, the report by Kosmo newspaper yesterday entitled ‘1,656 penduduk kecewa tiada CF’ (1,656 residents disappointed no CF issued) due to the corporation’s oversight as the project developer, was untrue and denied the allegations of the residents’ representative on the issue.

PKNS also advised the parties involved to check their facts before issuing any statement.
