SHAH ALAM, Feb 22 — Two economists, Professor Dr Jomo Kwame Sundaram and Dr Nungsari Ahmad Radhi will have a live discussion with Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari through an online forum tomorrow.
For those interested to gain an insight into Selangor’s post-pandemic economic plans, tune into the special programme titled ‘Post-pandemic economy: Where is the direction?’ which will focus on the critical topic at 8pm.
The live discussion features Jomo, a prominent economist who has served in the United Nations, and Dr Nungsari who has over 30 years of experience as an academician and was formerly the chairman of Khazanah Research Institute (KRI).
Recipient of 2018’s ‘Tokoh Wartawan Negara’ (National Journalist Award) Tan Sri Johan Jaaffar, who is also a member of the Board of Directors of Media Selangor, will be moderating the virtual forum.
Johan is generally known for his interviews with Malaysian leaders as a talk show host and was an appointee of the Selangor government’s media agency’s board of directors last year.
Organised by Media Selangor, the virtual forum will be broadcast on the Facebook pages of Amirudin Shari and Media Selangor, as well as SelangorTV Youtube page.
