Free Covid-19 community screening in Sabak Bernam tomorrow

By Sheeda Fathil

SHAH ALAM, Feb 24 — A free Covid-19 community screening will be taking place at the Sungai Besar Stadium in Sabak Bernam tomorrow.

The state government initiative will begin from 8am to 6pm and residents in nearby areas, as well as family members of workers who have undergone workplace screenings, are urged to participate.

The public can register at http://screening.selangkah.my to ensure the screening operation runs smoothly.

On January 20, the Selangor administration had allocated RM6 million to continue the free Covid-19 community screening operation throughout the state to curb the spread of the pandemic.

The initiative is part of the state government’s effort to detect more cases, especially among the high-risk groups.

The same programme was carried at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) hall in Section 19 hall, here, on February 17 and Pandamaran Jaya multipurpose hall in Klang on February 18.

The screening initiative was then held in Section 7, here, on February 20 and at the PJS 6 Community Hall in Petaling Jaya on February 21.

The programme was also previously held on January 7 and 8 in Section 25, Shah Alam, which saw the participation of almost 2,000 individuals.
