SHAH ALAM, Feb 12 — The 2021 Chinese New Year state-level virtual celebration tonight offers ang pows worth RM10,000 to its lucky viewers.
State Standing Committee on Non-Islamic Affairs co-chairman Dato’ Teng Chang Khim said the ‘Grab the Chance to Win Ang Pows’ campaign offers 310 red packet worth between RM28 and RM168.
“The draw for ang pows worth RM168 will be held on the 15th, 30th, 45th and 60th minute into the live show and after the broadcast ends. The list of lucky winners will be announced on February 15.
“The campaign will be held only on my Facebook page and on Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari’s page,” said Teng today.
Tonight the inaugural online programme will showcase 12 performances that include singing, dancing and cultural performances starting from 9pm, as well as speech and messages from Amirudin and the state excos.
The public can watch the live programme on Amirudin’s Facebook page as well as in several online media.
How to participate:
Step 1: Watch the Selangor Chinese New Year’s ‘New Year, New Hope’ virtual celebration on February 12 at 9pm. Share it on your Facebook page and remember to set the privacy setting to public.
Step 2: Tag friends and families in the comment section, write down your greetings and hashtag #alliwantforcnyisyou. The more comments submitted and the more friends tagged, the higher the chances of winning an ang pow.
