Happy news for GM Klang shoppers, shops

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 10 — GM Klang Wholesale City fully reopened for business today following approval from the National Security Council (NSC) and announcement by Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, yesterday.

Its advertising & promotions manager, Norsuhaida Othman, said merchants have been waiting for this moment to begin making money again.

“Chinese New Year is on Friday (February 12), so this is a good opportunity for some last-minute shopping because, before this, people were limited to e-shopping,” she said in a statement.

She also said that with the return of shoppers, GM Klang is committed to providing a safe environment and will ensure strict compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP).
