Hijrah entrepreneurs assistance scheme forms now available at all branches

SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 — Application form for the Hijrah Selangor (Hijrah) assistance scheme for new entrepreneurs starting a business is now available at all its branches.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said forms for the Microcredit scheme, Niaga Darul Ehsan (NaDI) and Go Digital schemes can be collected from 9am to 1pm from Monday to Friday during the movement control order (MCO) period.

“Applicants are advised to set an appointment via a phone call before coming to the nearest branch,” he said on Facebook yesterday.

In the 2021 Selangor Budget, Amirudin announced the NaDI scheme with an initial allocation of RM10 million to help traders get a minimum loan plan of RM1,000.

The NaDI scheme targets 3,000 recipients to continue trading using temporary hawker license from the local councils, while the Go Digital scheme target 3,000 existing entrepreneurs to get loans to purchase telecommunication devices.

While the Microcredit scheme is a capital loan for new entrepreneurs to start a business.
