Kinrara rep distributes food to 800 frontliners in Seri Kembangan, Puchong

PUCHONG, Feb 8 — Kinrara constituency’s community service centre distributed foods to 800 frontliners in Seri Kembangan and Puchong.

Its state assemblyman Ng Sze Han said the contribution with the collaboration from the Rotary Club and Lions Club Kuala Lumpur Mega City is to show appreciation to the group who work tirelessly regardless of the time to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in the state.

“Actually such contribution never stopped being given to the doctors, police, nurses and many others since the enforcement of the movement control order (MCO) in March last year.

“Apart from using the existing allocation, I also forge a strategic partnership with big companies and non-governmental organisation to implement it,” he told SelangorKini.

The state executive councillor said this after handing over the contribution to the Puchong Batu 14 Health Clinic’s Family Physician Clinic Head Dr Haslinda Hassan here today.

Also present were Selangor and National Health Clinic Panel chairman Datuk Dr Kannan, Rotary Kasih Committee chairman Chua Keng Soon, Lions Club Kuala Lumpur Mega City representative Margaret Tham and Puchong Batu 14 Health Clinic’s Family Physician Dr Jonathan Tan Yuet Han.

Meanwhile, Dr Kannan said he is grateful that the contribution of the medical team in the area is appreciated by the assemblyman.

“This is because the Puchong Batu 14 Health Clinic receives more than 1,500 patients from morning to evening every day. So this kind of contribution will at least makes the staffs who are always busy during the Covid-19 pandemic happy,” said Dr Kannan.
