Lane closure along Persiaran Apec for four months

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 — Lane closure will be carried out in stages along Persiaran Apec towards Kuala Lumpur-Puchong and Cyberjaya from February 26 until June 30.

MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (PDP SSP) Sdn Bhd in a statement yesterday said the closure of the road was to carry out drain construction as well as road repairs.

“Construction work will be carried out 24 hours for four months. When a 250-metre section on the left lane at Persiaran Apec towards Cyberjaya is closed, road users will be diverted to the right lane.

“In phase two, the left lane closure stretching 500 metres along Persiaran APEC (Kuala Lumpur/Puchong-bound), and motorists will be diverted to the right lane,” it said.

According to the statement, closures for phase one and two will be implemented in stages for one direction at a time and one lane will be provided for motorists at all times.

“Road users are advised to follow the instructions of the traffic signs and flag operators on duty,” it said.
