MB: Free Covid-19 screening for Shah Alam residents tomorrow

SHAH ALAM, Feb 19 — Residents in Sections 7, 9 and 16 here are encouraged to undergo the Covid-19 community screening at the Shah Alam City Council’s (MBSA) Dewan Melati in Section 7 here tomorrow, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said individuals who are interested in attending need to register at screening.selangkah.my to launch the process.

“The free screening starts from 9am to 4pm. Residents nearby are encouraged to participate in this programme,” he said in a statement on Facebook.

Previously, the targeted community screening was held for the residents from Sections 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 24 at the MBSA community hall in Section 19 Shah Alam on Wednesday and later at Pandamaran Jaya, Port Klang yesterday.

Since last April, the Selangor government had initiated several mass community Covid-19 screenings in hotspots to curb the spread of the pandemic.

The state administration had also introduced the drive-through screening as part of its efforts to flatten the Covid-19 curve and identify more cases.
