Tabika Perpaduan pupils return to class on Monday

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 27 — The reopening of the face-to-face session at all Tabika Perpaduan kindergartens nationwide on Monday (March 1) is in line with the Education Ministry’s announcement on February 19, said National Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique.

She said her ministry would ensure that the operations to be conducted in strict compliance with the preschool reopening guidelines, guidelines of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Security Council (NSC).

She also reminded teachers to always ensure that Tabika Perpaduan pupils maintain personal hygiene, wear face masks and maintain physical distancing.

“Parents and guardians who send their children to Tabika Perpaduan must also comply with the health protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP) set by MKN and MOH as well as the relevant state government instructions during this period of operation,” she said in a statement today. .

On February 19, Senior Education Minister Senator Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin announced that the face-to-face school session which was postponed following the increase in Covid-19 cases, to resume on March 1. The move involves preschoolers, Year One and Year Two pupils, while for Year Three to Six sessions will begin on March 8.
