SHAH ALAM, March 11— The free targeted screening programme to prevent the spread of Covid-19 will continue at four more locations this Saturday and Sunday.

Selcare Clinic manager Mohd Noor Md Nasir said the screening will start at 9am at the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) Multipurpose Hall in Bandar Bukit Puchong and Taman Batu Tiga in Subang Jaya on March 13.

According to him, the same programme will also be conducted simultaneously the next day at Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Seroja Hall in Section 27 and MBSJ Multipurpose Hall in USJ 7.

“Residents of Taman Mutiara Indah, Taman Saujana Puchong, Bandar Bukit Puchong and its surrounding areas are encouraged to undergo screening at the MPSJ Multipurpose Hall.

“While those who live in Taman Mutiara Subang and Section 22, Shah Alam can do the screening in Taman Batu Tiga,” he said while urging residents to take advantage of the programme while they have yet to be vaccinated.

Mohd Noor said the community screening at USJ 7 targets residents of Subang Perdana Goodyear Court and nearby areas while for residents at Section 27 Shah Alam it is at MBSA Seroja Hall.

The state government has allocated RM6 million to implement the free Covid-19 community screening throughout the state to curb the pandemic.

The programme targets participation from 50,000 residents in the state covering high-density areas and low-income groups to help ease their burden to go for screening.
