Covid-19 screening as low as RM50 for Bandar Utama folks on March 5-7

PETALING JAYA, March 3 — Bandar Utama constituency offers Covid-19 screening using the rapid antigen test kit (RTK-Ag) for as low as RM50 to the first 500 residents.

Its assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin said the programme in collaboration with two private clinics will be held from March 5 to 7 at the Bandar Utama Community Center, Jalan BU 3/1, here.

“The service is provided from 2pm to 5pm. We welcome the public to take this opportunity and fight Covid-19 together.

“This effort aims to curb the spread of the pandemic as well as reduce the burden on the community to pay for screening tests which are costly,” she said when met by SelangorKini.

According to her, residents need to bring their identity card or a copy of their utility bill to qualify for the discounted price.

She said the public also have the option to go for the drive-thru screening method which cost RM70 but requires a pre-registration.

“They need to register by sending a WhatsApp by typing #PKBU to 012-4711401 and pay before 5pm tomorrow,” she added.

She added the test is also open to foreigners with a cost as low as RM70.
