Follow Invest Selangor’s steps in introducing anti-corruption plan

SHAH ALAM, March 26 — Companies or agencies in Selangor have been urged to emulate the initiative by Invest Selangor Bhd  in introducing the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2021-2023.

Selangor Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) director Datuk Alias ​​Salim said the OACP helps companies to resolve internal issues concerning low integrity, weak administration and leakages.

“I would like to congratulate Invest Selangor for becoming the first state government’s subsidiary to launch the OACP.

“Corruption can happen anywhere, it just depends on how we should respond or curb this issue,” Alias said after witnessing the recitation and the signing ceremony of the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) at the Shah Alam Convention Center (SACC), here yesterday.

He said the OACP complements the IBR as an effort to prevent corruption in all organisations at the Federal or state level.

Earlier, Invest Selangor chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris led 66 personnel of the organisation in the pledge reading and signing of the IBR.

The Selangor government subsidiary also launched the OACP 2021-2023 to propel towards becoming an efficient, responsible as well as trustworthy corporate organisation.
