SHAH ALAM, March 16 — Former Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) deputy president Hasrolnizam Shaari has been appointed as the new Selangor Water Authority Board (Luas) director.

The agency said Hasrolnizam’s appointment took effect yesterday and congratulated him on the appointment.

“Hopefully, his appointment as the director would lead Luas to a higher level in the state’s management of water resources as well as in the country,” it said on Facebook.

On his first day of service, Hasrolnizam held a meeting with Luas management and new staff that had reported for duty.

Hasrolnizam was previously the MPAJ secretary before being appointed as the deputy president. He replaces Dato’ Hashim Osman.
