Helicopter crashed in Subang, two injured

SHAH ALAM, March 24 — An Airbus H125 helicopter with five men on board crashed at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Airport, Subang, this morning while landing.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis confirmed the incident and said all victims are safe and suffered only minor injuries.

“Two broke their right legs and injured their heads while the other three did not suffer any injuries.

“It is learnt that the helicopter flew from Terengganu. The victims were taken to hospital for treatment,” he said in a statement today.

Norazam said they received an emergency call at 9.26am and arrived at the scene about 20 minutes later.

According to him, firemen from the Kota Anggerik Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched and assisted by the airport firefighters.
