PJ’s Jalan PJU 10/1 turn one-way road, three-month trial

SHAH ALAM, March 10 — Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will change the flow for part of Jalan PJU 10/1, from two-way traffic to one-way traffic starting from March 12.

MBPJ Corporate Communications Unit announced it will be on a three-month trial period and will start from Jalan PJU 10/1 traffic light junction near Sekolah Kebangsaan Damai 1.

According to the local authority, the move which has the cooperation of residents was to reduce congestion in the surrounding area.

“During this period, MBPJ will monitor the traffic movement to see the efficiency and safety level of the route,” it said, adding that it will be made permanent if there are no protests.
