SHAH ALAM, April 7 — A total of 126 civil servants in the state received the 2020 Excellent Service Award (APC) presented by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

Recipients included staff from the State Secretary’s office, treasury, land and minerals office, Selangor Housing and Property Board and the State Sports Council.

Amirudin in his speech appreciated the commitment and sacrifice of civil servants who have always provided the best service despite the Covid-19 outbreak.

“The government administration plays a very important role in the event of a disaster and Selangor civil servants have proven that they are capable of facing the unexpected,” he said at the Dewan Jubli Perak here.

Amirudin also hoped that civil servants would continue to cultivate excellent work in line with Selangor’s status as a developed state.

“The state government is working for the ‘Selangor Maju Bersama’ agenda without sidelining any parties while cultivating the potential of all civil servants,” he added.
