SHAH ALAM, April 20 — Close to 400 Selangor Digital e-Supply Chain (Seldec) participants have taken part in the Ramadan e-bazaar programme under the jurisdiction of the 12 local authorities in the state.
State executive councillor for entrepreneur development Rodziah Ismail said registration for the initiative is still open to the public especially among the youth group.
“The effort is to help food-delivery riders in earning extra income while facilitating traders in selling their products by making sure the items are delivered to their customers.
“Aside from providing delivery service, Seldec also offers guidance to the small-businesses especially on digitalisation as the items are sold online,” she said during the Selangor Hijrah Foundation (Hijrah) breaking fast event at the Kelab Shah Alam, here yesterday.
On April 3, Seldec had offered a RM200 incentive to the food delivery personnel who are in service until the last day of Ramadan.
The initiative is to encourage more riders and drivers to register with Seldec.
