SHAH ALAM, April 17 — Another new attraction in Shah Alam is open to the public during Ramadan starting from yesterday to May 12.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the Cahaya Ramadan rhythmic water fountain show takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Laman Budaya (Cultural Park).
“The session starts at 10pm to 11.15pm,” he posted on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) also invites visitors to watch the musical water fountain show with the theme of divine and spiritual songs to enliven the atmosphere of Ramadan.
“People are reminded to always adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) when in public places such as maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks,” the local council posted on Facebook.
On March 28, Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah officiated two new attractions at Shah Alam Lake Garden.
Apart from Laman Budaya Musical Fountain, flying fox activity was also officiated on the Shah Alam Zip Line that stretches 240-metre across the lake.
The project, which cost RM1.96 million, is part of MBSA’s efforts to revitalise the tourism sector in Shah Alam.
