Free community screening continues in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kajang today

SHAH ALAM, April 10 — The free Covid-19 community screening programme organised by the Selangor government continues today in Bandar Puncak Alam and Kajang to control the spread of the pandemic.

The programme is held concurrently at the Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS) hall in Sinar Alam, Fasa 2, Bandar Puncak Alam, and at the basketball court in Taman Setia, Kajang, near the Pasar Awam Sungai Chua, from 9am to 4pm.

“Bandar Puncak Alam residents in Puncak Alam Fasa 3, Sinar Alam, Alam Suria, Taman Alam Jaya, Taman Alam Sutera, Alam Perdana, Saujana Utama and Seri Pristana are encouraged to participate in the free programme.

“While in Kajang, residents in Kampung Sungai Chua, Kampung Baru Sungai Chua, Desa Kekwa, Taman Setia, Taman Berjaya, Pusat Perindustrian Sungai Chua, Taman Kajang Raya, are encouraged to come for the free testing,” said Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari on Facebook.

The public can sign-up for the programme via the SELangkah app or visit screening.selangkah.my.

The Selangor government has set aside RM6 million to carry out the free Covid-19 community screening initiative throughout the state to curb the coronavirus outbreak.

The initiative targets the participation of 50,000 Selangor residents in high-density areas as well as those from the low-income group.
