Free Covid-19 testing in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kajang on Saturday — MB

SHAH ALAM, April 7 — The upcoming series of the Selangor’s free Covid-19 community screening will be held in Bandar Puncak Alam and Kajang on April 10, says Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said the programme in Puncak Alam will be held at the Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS) hall in Sinar Alam, Fasa 2, Bandar Puncak Alam, on Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

“The residents in the nearby areas are encouraged to participate in the free programme, especially those in Puncak Alam Fasa 3, Sinar Alam, Alam Suria, Taman Alam Jaya, Taman Alam Sutera, Alam Perdana, Saujana Utama and Seri Pristana,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Meanwhile, Amirudin said the programme in Kajang will be held at the basketball court in Taman Setia, Kajang, near the Pasar Awam Sungai Chua, on Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

“Those staying nearby especially in Kampung Sungai Chua, Kampung Baru Sungai Chua, Desa Kekwa, Taman Setia, Taman Berjaya, Pusat Perindustrian Sungai Chua, Taman Kajang Raya, are encouraged to come for the free testing,” he said.

The public can sign-up for the programme via the SELangkah app or visit screening.selangkah.my.

The Selangor government has set aside RM6 million to carry out the free Covid-19 community screening initiative throughout the state to curb the coronavirus outbreak.

The initiative targets the participation of 50,000 Selangor residents in high-density areas as well as those from the low-income group.
