Its commanding officer, Superintendent Rizal Mohamed said the seizure of 6,432 litres of liquor was made by his team following the arrest of a 23-year-old local man with a lorry at Jalan Idaman 24, Klang, at 4.30 am.

Rizal said further inspection found alcoholic drinks believed to be smuggled in the back of the vehicle with an estimated tax value of RM122,208.

“The man and seized items have been taken to the Pandamaran Police Station, Klang for further action under the Customs Act 1967,” he said in a statement today.
