Maintenance works: 58 areas in Gombak, KL to face scheduled water cuts tomorrow

SHAH ALAM, April 5 — Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) will be carrying out valve replacement works in the raw water pipeline from the Klang Gates Dam for three days beginning tomorrow.

The agency said this will cause the temporary shutdown of the Bukit Nanas and Wangsa Maju Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), leading to a 68-hour water supply disruption.

“A total of 58 areas in Gombak and Kuala Lumpur will be affected by water cuts beginning 9am tomorrow and water is expected to be fully restored to the areas on April 9 at 5am.

“Affected consumers are advised to store water adequately for their households and make sure the storage container is closed,” said Air Selangor on Facebook today.
