Man found dead at home with stab wounds — Ampang police

KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 — Police found the body of a 30-year-old man with stab wounds on his chest in an apartment at Taman Pandan Indah here yesterday.

Ampang district police chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the victim was found sprawled on the bed in a room at about 2pm.

“The police received a distress call from the family informing that a family member was unconscious in the bedroom.

“Preliminary examination on the victim’s body found stab wounds on his chest, and the body was sent to Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital in Kuala Lumpur. A post-mortem would be conducted tomorrow,” he said in a statement last night.

He said the victim was believed to be working in a private company, and investigations were being carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
