Over RM500,000 allocated in Gombak for Jelajah Kita Selangor Ramadan programme

SELAYANG, April 20 — The Selangor government has allocated over RM500,000 to carry out several programmes under the Jelajah Kita Selangar tour Ramadan series in Gombak.

Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the total allocation include financial aid disbursed to suraus, welfare bodies and government agencies.

“From the total amount, almost RM400,000 was contributed to the Gombak district police headquarters (IPD) to upgrade the wiring system as well as other facilities.

“Through this programme, we get to meet with several parties that have helped with the administration of the state government at the district level,” said Amirudin when met after the Jelajah Kita Selangor and breaking fast event with government agencies and village heads at Dewan Siantan, here last night.

He said the allocation for the programme, is funded by the Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI). The programme will proceed next to the Klang district.

“We hope that this programme will be carried on to enable organisations or association to carry on with their activities,” he added.
