SHAH ALAM, April 29 — The Selangor government will propose several recommendations on the enforced conditional movement control order (CMCO) in the state to the National Security Council (NSC) tomorrow after recording four-digit daily Covid-19 cases for two consecutive days.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said he will call a meeting with the Selangor Security Council Committee to discuss the matter.

“Today is the second day in a row where the daily Covid-19 cases (in the state) have recorded four figures. Tomorrow morning (Friday), I will call a special meeting with the Selangor Security Council Committee to review the implementation of the CMCO throughout Selangor.

“The meeting will raise several recommendations on the CMCO in Selangor to the National Security Council to be addressed to the Federal government,” he said via a Twitter post today.

Today, Selangor topped the list of Covid-19 cases with 1,083 infections recorded, followed by Sarawak (522) and Kelantan (401), out of the total 3,332 daily infections reported nationwide.

Selangor had recorded the highest number of daily cases at 1,019 yesterday, while on Tuesday, the state saw a total of 750 new cases.
